RENOS LOIZOU (1948 - 2013) CV

Biography

1948              Born at Paleometochon near Nicosia, Cyprus.
1955              Came to London.  Educated in London and Cambridge.
1963              Awarded a scholarship to study at the Cambridge College of Art
1965              Travelled to Spain Italy and Greece and began series of drawings and paintings.
1969              Gave his first solo exhibition in Cambridge where Jim Ede bought three of his works to be   included in the now famous Kettles Yard Collection.
1975               Taught art at Cambridge and began series of etchings.
His great Patron was the late Jim Ede of Kettles Yard, Cambridge.
